Follow these steps to install WiseMapping on your Mac

Security Permissions Required

macOS requires manual approval to install applications from unidentified developers. This is a standard security feature to protect your Mac.

Installation Steps

Download the installer

Click the download button above to download WiseMapping-0.5.0-universal.dmg to your Mac.

Download InstallerUniversal installer for Intel and Apple Silicon Macs • Version 0.5.0

Open the DMG file and drag to Applications

Once downloaded, open the DMG file and drag the WiseMapping app to your Applications folder.

Approve security permissions

When you first open WiseMapping, macOS will show a security warning. Go to System Settings > Privacy & Security, scroll down to the Security section, and click 'Open Anyway' next to the WiseMapping message. Then click 'Open' in the confirmation dialog.

Once approved, WiseMapping will open and you can start creating mind maps offline!

Why isn't this app code-signed?

To avoid this security warning, we would need to pay Apple $100 USD annually for the Apple Developer Program. As an open-source project, it's sometimes hard to cover all costs. If anyone is interested in sponsoring this, we'd be glad to implement code signing!
